Question from Maxime A.:
Hello,
I would like to inform you that the bulb what I was buying smell that is not at all pleasant, it is rather like a burnt plastic, and there is a green spot in the middle of the screen.
Do you have an explanation, I asked you if it was exactly the same characteristics as the original and you gave me certified that it was the same thing and I wonder if it is really the case.
Regards and greetings..

Epson EMP-TW2000
Hello,
Is that you noticed the smell of burnt before installing the new lamp?
For the first installation, the smell can come from the new plastic and in use, it may be an overheating. It is depending on the number of hours that the projector is turned on.
Because the lamp is also made of a plastic chassis, it is likely that the smell comes from this. If you do not have this smell before installing the new lamp projector, there should not be burnt components. The smell should disappear after a few days of using your Epson projector.
Regarding the green spot, this does not come from the lamp, because if it produces light, it does not affect the colors. It is the matrix of the projector that supports the colors.
