Infocus IN76 or Bigplay belongs to the brand's range of «HD Ready» video projectors. This model won the EISA Award for 2006-2007 in its category, an excellent reason to hold on to this machine. In addition to its easy installation, the Bigplay's default settings quickly render a high quality image.

Unfortunately, this video projector has not been on the market since August 2018. However, you can still replace the bulb on the website, if need be. If not, then choose a new machine like the Epson EB-S04 with more innovative features.

The beneficial features of the Infocus IN76 video projector

Technically, this DLP video projector housing a DMD Darchip2 with a resolution of 1280x720 and actual contrast measured at 3000:1. It features a high variety of electrical connections: HDMI, DVI, S-Video and composite connections in order to be able to read different video sources such as HDTV, HD DVD or Blu-Ray.

However, if the owner wishes to invest in a newer model, the Epson EB-S04 video projector is an attractive alternative in that it is an economic but complete solution.

Epson EB-S04, a versatile portable video projector

Epson relies on mobility and versatility with the EB-S04 model. The machine weighs only 2.4 kg [4.4 lbs] measuring 77x234x297 mm. It can be used just as easily to watch movies at home or to give high quality presentations in the conference room.

Contrary to the Infocus IN76, the Epson EB-S04 video projector employs 3LCD technology in order to avoid the visible rainbow effect seen in DLP video projectors and to provide images that are three times as bright.

The 3000 lumina of brightness, the SVGA resolution (800 X 600) and the strong contrast ratio of 15000:1 that the manufacturer boasts are proven as of the first hours of use. The connections provide a large array of projection sources thanks to the HDMI and mobile Espon iProjection connectors.

The last advantage of the Epson EB-S04 video projector is the exceptionally long lifespan of its 10,000 hour or 15 year bulb.
