Hello,
Sometimes you buy the lamp without its support, or you have the new lamp and you want to replace the defective lamp with this new lamp. Change the bulb without its support is possible even if you are not handy. However, this requires some skill to avoid damaging the projector lamp. It may seem simple but you must be very careful, you must check the mounting of the bulb, everything is in the right place, the terminals are not too tight and they are sufficiently tight. It is also necessary that the bulb is fixed in the cartridge before putting them (bulb and cartridge) into the projector.
So, you must keep your old lamp in order to mount the new lamp in the same method.
