What is the manipulation to be done to solve the problem of starting of the Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector?
Question from customers
Question from Gwen N.
Hello,
My Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector starts up with the green LED but after a few seconds it turns off. The light turns red and blinks, after it turns orange, therefore, it indicates that I should replace the lamp.
I retried several times, it was always the same. So I replaced the lamp in my Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector but I am still remained at the same stage. What should I do?
Thank you for your advice.
Best regards,
Gwen N.

Hello,
In reality, this is a common problem for Sanyo PLV-Z4 projectors. You need to think about how to reboot the technical protection of your Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector. You have just a few steps to do:
- Open the projector;
- Remove the 6 screws which 3 below and 3 at the rear;
- Disconnect the ribbon cable from the control panel;
- At the left back, above the location of the lamp, you will find a thermal circuit breaker (a round black object with a small white button), click on it with a pen;
- Now, you should hear a click. Thermal protection for your Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector is now rebooted.
- Remount the projector
If the problem persists, soliciting the service of a professional repairman seems necessary.
