Acer presents its two new 4K Ultra HD, HDR home theater projectors, “the H7850” and “the V7850”. Their image quality is sharp and clear, allowing you to watch movies at home in full immersion, as in a movie theater. Being equipped with high-performance functions, they project an image far superior than that of a simple television.

The projectors are equipped with Rec.2020 and HDR10 compatibility. They have a noise level of 26 dB when in Standard mode and 19 dB in Eco mode. Both models have a vertical lens shift of 15%. Despite the difference in the brightness ratio of the two products, the lamp life for an ACER projector remains the same, lasting up to 15,000 hours in Eco mode and 4,000 hours in Standard mode, such as the ACER EC.J5600.001 Lampe.

Acer H7850 and V7850 models are equipped with a technology called “Acer Acu Motion”, which provides a very clear and high-quality image when there are action scenes or fast movements. Another function of the projectors provides sharper contrast between brightest and darkest areas for an image reaching a 1,000,000:1 ratio, in a process called “Dynamic Black”.
br> Concerning image projection, both models are capable of displaying a diagonal image of up to 7.62 meters and hold a 0.67-inch DLP chip. The new Ultra HD chip enables a display of 4 million pixels, which can “switch” up to 8 million pixels at an incredible speed of 7 microseconds per frame.

Differences:

While the H7850 projector boasts a brightness-level of 3000 lumens, the V7850 model’s is slightly lower, with 2100 lumens. In terms of design, there is a difference in the finish, one having a silver touch (V7850) and the other black (H7850). The V7850 model contains a 6-segment jog wheel: RGBRGB (Red-Green-Blue), as opposed to the H7850, which does not.
