On 27th September, Epson confirmed the release of Epson iProjection currently available for the Chromebook, Google’s new computer. This application offers teachers and students the possibility of displaying the content of their Chromebooks via an Epson BrightLink or a PowerLiteMD, two recently released interactive Epson video projectors. It can simultaneously manage several connected devices and computers.

Brief overview of Epson iProjection

As detailed above, this is an intuitive mobile projection application which is wireless and aimed at Android devices in particular. With the use of the Epson projector network function, it enables the projection of images or files (Word, Powerpoint, Keynote, Dropbox, …) stored on Apple iOS devices running iOS version 4.2 or later, including the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and the majority of Android devices running Android 2.3 or later (Smartphone, tablet, …).Epson iProjection is currently available absolutely free of charge on Google Play or in the App Store.

How do Epson iProjection and Epson video projectors work?

Epson iProjection is a very simple application to use offering an effective solution for the educational environment, it acts as a projection interface. Thanks to the moderator function, the teacher can synchronise up to 4 computers as well as wirelessly connect 50 mobile devices in order to project student work over Epson video projectors: BrightLink and PowerLiteMD. Furthermore, these interactive video projectors offer advanced connectivity options allowing you to project any content onto a smooth, bright surface. They come provided with a double pen.
