How to solve the dullness of the lamp in your projector NEC VT460?
Question from customers
Question from P. LEDEME
There are now two months, we bought a lamp for NEC VT460. From the outset, the brightness of the lamp was low, but sufficient. But for more than a month, we have a problem with the use of the projector: it was really hard now to read something on the screen.
I set the brightness and contrast of the projector up and you know that in such a case the lamp is not in normal operation.

Several factors influence the brightness of a projector lamp. First, it is possible that the problem lies in the ballast because it is the element that powers the lamp, and it may be faulty. And then, think to remove the dust inside your projector because it is a major source of lack of brightness of the projector lamp NEC VT460. And you said that you already have the maximum setting, the lamp could be also in poor condition.
In any case, a diagnosis is needed to detect where the dullness of your projector lamp comes.
If you want, you can return the lamp so we can test it.
