justprojectorlamps: about compatible projector Lamps.

Justprojectorlamps offers a large range of compatible lamps. As with memory for PCs or printer cartridges, certain companies on the audiovisual market have developed an offer for projector lamps. All of the compatible lamps from Justprojectorlamps have been manufactured under strict control and tests on the performance of the projector, voltage, ignition, connections, life span and luminosity. All compatible lamps comply to ISO 9001 standards.

Two types of compatible lamps are offered:

COMPATIBLE LAMPS

Compatible lamps include the lamp cartridge, the plastic part of the lamp, also known as the carrier, surround or support as well as the bulb. Installation is as easy as with an original lamp, simply by lodging the module in it's slot and connecting it to the system.

COMPATIBLE BULBS

Only the bulb is sold and not the support. It is therefore necessary to recoup the cartridge of the faulty lamp, removing the bulb. Once it has been removed, the new bulb is housed in the cartridge, and the two joined elements are placed in the projector.

Justprojectorlamps only offers compatible bulbs for product references for which extraction and installation of the bulb is easy. If the operation is too complex we won't offer it. The operation must be possible without damaging the bulb or support.

If you send a bulb back to us and we notice that it has been damaged during installation, it will not be replaced. Clients taking this option must have sufficient dexterity to perform this simple technical operation.

Advice for installing a compatible bulb

Make sure that the screws / bolts of the terminal are not too tight as these can break the ceramic part and harm the isolation of the lamp. On the other hand if they are not tight enough, they can provoke too big a charge on the ballast causing this to break.

Make sure the bulb is well housed in the cartridge. There is a tendance to stop at the first sign of resistance. Continue applying pressure on the base of the bulb until it is well fixed within the cartridge.
