What could be the cause of low brightness of an Epson EH-TW9000W?
Question from customers
We have a projector, Epson EH-TW9000W, that is only the age of four weeks, and tonight when we have started it, the screen brightness is very low. Thinking it was just a bad display setting, we went in the menu to try to make the adjustment, the projector is off and the lamp indicator started flashing red. After turning off and restarting the unit, everything went wrong because even the lamp does not light up.
I just hope it's not something serious. Note that my Epson TW9000W is still under warranty and that we had used a handful of times.
Do you have a solution or clarification on my problem?
Answer from justprojectorlamps.co.uk
Apparently, it is the ballast unit that is defective. It could be that this part of your Epson projector is slightly different from the original. Maybe they have a problem with older models and this newest ballast was designed to correct problems with the old model. In such cases, the best is to entrust the matter at their after-sales service. Make sure before any procedures that your lamp Epson projector is also installed properly.
